




Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
The National Forest Park, located in Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province, China, is one of several national parks within the Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Covering an area of 130 square kilometers, it is China's first national forest park and was established in 1982. The park is located in the Wuling Mountains, featuring over 2,000 stone peaks. It has a forest coverage rate of 88% and is surrounded by mountains on all sides, with a warm and humid climate. The park features scenic spots such as Huangshi Village, Shadaogou, Jinbian Rock and Jinbian Stream, and offers seven main tourist routes including Huangshi Village, Jinbian Stream, Yaozi Village, Pipa Stream, Shadaogou, Back Garden and Chaotian Temple.

Core Features of the Scenic Area
A World Natural Heritage Site and one of the first 5A-level scenic spots, it is renowned for its quartz sandstone peak forest landscape. The core attractions include:
- Yuanjiajie: Suspended Mountain (settlement for filming "Avatar"), The World's First Bridge
- Jinbianxi: 7.5-kilometer canyon trail, area with wild macaques
- Tizishan: West Sea Peak Forest, Hailong Park for observing the sea of clouds
