1. Core Features of the Scenic Area

Tianmen Mountain is renowned for its world's longest passenger cableway (7,455 meters), 99 bends of mountainous roads, and the 131.5-meter Tianmen Cave. It is the only 5A-level scenic area in the world that has a mountain elevator. Its iconic landscapes include:

Tianmen Cave: The world's highest natural cave through a mountain, resembling a gateway to the heavens. During the rainy season, the cave is filled with swirling clouds, creating an otherworldly scene.

Glass Walkway: The east-west section is 60 meters long and hangs 400 meters above the abyss. One needs to rent anti-slip shoes to attempt the challenge.

Guiyu Stairway: A 1600-meter cliff walkway, believed to be the place where Guigui Zi practiced. It is thrilling and shaking in strong winds.
