  2. Sword Pool (剑池): A mysterious pool where, according to legend, King Helü's 3,000 swords were buried with him. The pool is surrounded by steep cliffs and features a famous inscription by the Song Dynasty calligrapher Mi Fu.

  3. Thousand People Rock (千人石): A large, flat rock where, according to legend, King Helü's funeral ceremony was held, and later, where monks lectured to a thousand people.

  4. Testing Stone (试剑石): A large rock split in two, said to be the result of a sword test by King Helü.

  5. Springs and Pavilions: Explore the various springs, such as the "Third Spring of the World," and numerous pavilions scattered throughout the hill, offering peaceful spots for rest and contemplation.

Best Time to Visit

Spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) offer the most pleasant weather for exploring. The hill is beautiful year-round. Weekdays are generally less crowded than weekends and public holidays. Arrive early to avoid the largest crowds.

Tiger Hill is located in Gusu District, Suzhou. You can take various bus routes (e.g., 32, 146, 816) to Tiger Hill Station (虎丘站). A taxi or ride-hailing service is also convenient.
