Attraction Special Events and Experiences
Special Lakes:
Swan Lake: A freshwater oasis in the desert, with swans inhabiting it in spring and autumn. The lake water is clear and reflects the sand dunes and green plants.
Ulan Lake: Due to its high content of carotene, it appears pink. From a high altitude, it resembles the "heart of the earth", making it a popular photo spot.
Camel Lake: The lake water is pink due to red ball algae and minerals. The salt crystals and sand dunes form a dreamlike landscape.

The best season for desert camping is from May to October.
Notes:
Transportation advice: Professional off-road vehicles must be used to enter the desert. Ordinary city SUVs are not suitable for desert terrain.
Health protection: Sun protection and sand-proof equipment should be prepared. Anti-motion sickness medication should also be carried (off-road driving and sanding can cause discomfort).
Photography preparation: It is recommended to bring a drone. The beautiful scenery of most lakes can only be fully displayed through aerial photography.
Guide selection: It is recommended to choose experienced local drivers and guides to ensure safety and the best experience.
