More about the trip
Shanghai Disney Resort: Where Dreams Come True
Shanghai Disney Resort is a magical destination where classic Disney storytelling meets Chinese culture. As the first Disney resort in mainland China, it offers a unique blend of beloved Disney characters, thrilling attractions, and spectacular entertainment, all designed with a touch of local charm. It's a place where dreams come true for visitors of all ages.
What to See and Do
Shanghai Disneyland Park: The heart of the resort, featuring six themed lands: Mickey Avenue, Gardens of Imagination, Fantasyland, Treasure Cove, Adventure Isle, and Tomorrowland. Each land offers unique rides, shows, and character greetings.
Enchanted Storybook Castle: The largest and tallest Disney castle in the world, serving as the park's iconic centerpiece. Unlike other Disney castles, it represents all Disney princesses.
TRON Lightcycle Power Run: A high-speed, futuristic roller coaster in Tomorrowland, inspired by the Tron films, offering an exhilarating experience.
Pirates of the Caribbean – Battle for the Sunken Treasure: An immersive and technologically advanced boat ride in Treasure Cove, bringing the world of Captain Jack Sparrow to life.
Parades and Nighttime Spectaculars: Enjoy the daily parades featuring Disney characters and elaborate floats, and don't miss the breathtaking nighttime fireworks and projection show over the Enchanted Storybook Castle.
Disneytown: An adjacent shopping, dining, and entertainment district that does not require park admission. It features the Walt Disney Grand Theatre, home to Broadway-style shows.
Best Time to Visit
Weekdays (especially Tuesday-Thursday) are generally less crowded than weekends and public holidays. Spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) offer the most comfortable weather. Avoid major Chinese holidays if possible.
How to Get There
Take Metro Line 11 to Disney Resort Station (迪士尼站). The park entrance is a short walk from the station.
